Baby Bears on Ladders!

I think that "Baby bears on ladders!" is going to be my new phrase to exclaim when something exciting or crazy happens. What brought this on? Why, baby bears on ladders. Lay your eyes on this:

I had no idea what was about to happen. Did you? So smart of those bear rescuers!

In other news, the Mister and I found a dog that was hit by a car yesterday. Whoever hit him just left him there on the interstate and if I could find that person, I'm pretty sure that I'd shout out "Baby bears on ladders! I'm going to punch you in the face! You'd better start running!" If you ask me, it takes a certain kind of jerk to hit a defenseless animal and then leave them to die alone.  More than likely, this person didn't hit him on purpose but to just keep going like that? Wrong on so many levels.

Lucky the Pup is going to be okay but it's going to be a bit of a long road. He has some broken bones and other issues so I'm going to be busy for a while helping that pup along. Please send good thoughts our way for speedy healing and success in finding a great rescue home to take him in. Will see y'all on the other side... Peace and love.

Until next time,
x's and o's,
Eartha

Big hugs to poor wittle pupster. :(
I never cease to be amazed at how horrible people can be. But, at the same time, how amazingly wonderful others are...so glad you came along and helped!!
Keep us posted on the little munchkin's progress!

Good thoughts heading your way! So glad you are able to step in and help that poor sweetie get all better and healed up. My Sherlock came to me from a shelter after he was found wandering and injured from a car wreck. Luckily some nice person took the time to help him out. Now he is livin' large with my hound clan. I don't know anything about the person who rescued him, but I am very grateful to them!

I love the bears escaping their trash container prison! VERY smart of whoever that was to lend them a ladder!

So sorry to hear about Lucky's hit-and-run. I will keep a good thought for you guys that he's right as rain really soon. He couldn't be in better hands! :)

Awww...sometimes everyone needs a hand up. Even baby bears. And the lengths that you and your mister go to help animals in need is heartwarming. I hope that the pup is on the mend and finds a loving new home soon.

I love that bear video, I know that I've seen it once before and I was so intrigued by all those baby bears climbing out of the trash bin...mad props to those people for sticking a ladder in there!

I used to volunteer at a state park and first thing in the morning we would make the rounds of the dumpsters with several lengths of lumber. Some folks would neglect to put the lid down and if we found raccoons in the dumpster, we propped a piece of lumber to make a ramp. Later in the morning we would go back to remove the ramps and put the lid on. The bear video reminded me of this. By the time we got to them, these critters were finished rummaging and had such expectant looks on their faces as we peered in at them. It didn't take long for them to scramble out.
